My name is Matt Phillips. I was born in Sacramento and moved to Rocklin
at the age of five. I was raised in the Rocklin Unified School District, having attended Breen, Granite Oaks Middle School, and Rocklin High School.
It is a privilege to teach in the school district I attended.

I graduated from California State University - Sacramento with a Bachelor of Arts
in English with an emphasis in English Education. I received my Master of Arts
in Education and my Single Subject Teaching Credential in English
from the University of Phoenix.

I look forward to getting to know all of my students and parents
during the school year.
